About this site
3DMSCs.com exists to make the biology of three-dimensional mesenchymal stem cell culture accessible to a wider audience — researchers, clinicians, students, and informed members of the public.
Editorial purpose
Most of the content available online about MSCs and exosomes is either highly technical (primary literature, conference posters) or marketing material from commercial suppliers. This site sits in between: educational, citation-backed, and brand-neutral.
Editorial principles
- Education first. No therapeutic claims. No product endorsements. No recommendations on whether any individual reader should pursue a particular intervention.
- Citations always. Substantive scientific claims link to peer-reviewed sources via DOI and PubMed. The research library is the canonical citation list for the site.
- Plain language. The biology is complex, but the writing should not be. Where a technical term is necessary, it is defined the first time it appears.
- Independent. The site is not operated by, funded by, or affiliated with any cell-therapy supplier, clinic, or device manufacturer. It does not run paid advertising and does not accept editorial sponsorship.
What this site is not
- It is not medical advice. Readers with clinical questions should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
- It is not regulatory guidance. For the legal status of MSC- or EV-based products in your jurisdiction, consult the relevant regulator (FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA, TGA, Health Canada, etc.).
- It is not a directory of clinics, products, or therapies, and does not provide referrals.
How content is curated
Topic pages are written from primary peer-reviewed sources and from review articles in journals such as Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, Stem Cells, Stem Cell Research & Therapy, Tissue Engineering Parts A/B/C, and Cytotherapy. The selection bias of the citation list is toward studies that report on three-dimensional culture formats, since that is the focus of this resource.
Updates and corrections
The site is updated periodically as new literature emerges. Corrections to factual errors or broken links are welcomed. A contact address will be published on this page when correspondence handling is in place.
